Granberg’s ESG-4001BR sink is developed for accessibility-adapted kitchens where ergonomics, comfort and functionality support an Inclusive Kitchen concept. With an optimised bowl depth of 120 mm, the sink is designed for kitchen solutions with adequate knee-clearance and comfortable work from a seated position, including wheelchair use, offering improved ergonomics compared to standard kitchen sinks.

The sink is manufactured from durable quartz composite containing 80% quartz, providing high resistance to heat, impact and everyday wear. The hygienic, non-porous surface is easy to clean and well suited to kitchens with high demands on quality, durability and long-term performance.

The model features a generously sized bowl with an integrated draining area on the side, designed as a natural extension of the work surface. The draining area provides a convenient space for placing dishes, pots and pans to drain, or for use when rinsing ingredients and kitchen utensils. Water is efficiently channelled directly back into the sink, helping to protect the worktop from moisture.

Functions and Advantages

  • Ergonomically designed bowl with optimised depth (120 mm), adapted for kitchens with knee clearance and comfortable use from a seated position, including wheelchair users, compared to standard kitchen sinks.
  • The optimised bowl depth allows the overflow to be positioned on the upper side of the sink, enabling maximum water capacity without compromising safety.
  • Waste outlet positioned at the rear of the bowl to maximise space and provide improved freedom of movement when working from a seated position.
  • Manufactured from quartz composite – a durable, non-porous and hygienic material that is easy to clean, offering good heat resistance and high resistance to scratches and stains.
  • Quartz composite is a naturally thermally insulating material that conducts heat more slowly than metal, reducing heat transfer from hot water and contributing to increased comfort and safety – without the need for additional heat insulation often required with stainless steel sinks.
  • Flexible waste trap – the flexible drain hose simplifies installation when the sink is mounted at a fixed height and is equally suitable for installation in height-adjustable lift systems.
