Which wall cabinet lift should I choose for the kitchen?

Height-adjustable wall cabinets create the opportunity for independent work in the kitchen, even for individuals with reduced mobility and wheelchair users.

Our wall cabinet lifts are available in various configurations to suit different needs and kitchen setups.

Here are some tips and advice to help you choose the right lift system for your wall cabinets.

The Verti is an electric lift mechanism that creates a height adjustable shelf system within kitchen wall cabinets. With a simple button press, the shelves lower straight down from the wall cabinet. Additionally, there is still worktop space and storage area in front of the lowered shelves, to allow you to place down any items you get off the shelves.

The Verti internal cabinet lift is suitable for both new and existing wall cabinets where the base has been removed. The lifting function does not extend the cabinet outward from the wall, and therefore no gap is required in between adjacent cabinets since the shelves are lowered inside the kitchen cabinet.

The Verti is an excellent choice when creating an adapted kitchen in your house. Often, only partial adaptations are made to kitchens, and this system allows the existing kitchen cabinets to remain on the wall. The kitchen's appearance is preserved since the cabinet doors remain attached. Please be aware that the rear of the cabinet must be sold and needs to be fixed to the wall to ensure the Vertic can be used safely.

  • Lowers wall cabinet shelves straight down towards the underlying kitchen worktop.
  • Does not extend outward from the wall and doesn't require gaps on the sides of the kitchen cabinet.
  • Workspace and storage area remain on the underlying worktop even when the kitchen shelves are lowered.
  • Safety switch under the bottom shelf and in the motor cover above the top shelf.
  • Ideally placed over a work surface with open space for legroom.
  • Works well in partial kitchen adaptations.
  • Suitable for kitchen renovation.

The Diago 504 is an electric wall cabinet lift that lowers one or multiple cabinets in a diagonal arc motion; downwards and forwards.

Thanks to the diagonal lowering function of the wall cabinet, the lifting mechanism allows access to the cabinet's contents even from a seated position. The Diago 504 can be positioned over base cabinets (open space for legroom is not entirely necessary as the wall cabinet is lowered downwards and forwards).

The Diago 504 is suitable for both new construction and renovation of kitchens. When planning a kitchen, it's good to know that the wall cabinet lift extends the cabinet forward by 11 cm, and there should be a gap of 5-8 mm to adjacent cabinets to allow movement.

Because the lifting mechanism for the kitchen cabinet is situated behind the wall cabinet, the storage space inside the cabinet remains unaffected. Unlike our other wall cabinet lifters, several wall cabinets can be mounted on Diago 504.

  • Lowers one or multiple wall cabinets in a diagonal motion.
  • The lifting mechanism takes up no space inside the cabinet, providing maximum storage capacity.
  • Safety switch beneath the wall cabinet.
  • Can be positioned over base cabinets.
  • Can be positioned over kitchen faucets.
  • Considerations for kitchen planning: Extends by 11 cm, requires a 5-8 mm movement gap beside the cabinet.
  • Suitable for both new construction and renovations of kitchens.

You could say that the InDiago is a combination of the Verti and the Diago. Similar to the Verti, the InDiago is installed inside the wall cabinet, and just like the Diago, it lowers the contents of the cabinet in a diagonal arc motion; downwards and forwards.

With a button press, the doors first open, and then the shelf insert is lowered to position in reach, even for wheelchair users.

The InDiago wall cabinet lift is suitable for both new and existing kitchen cabinets. The motor unit doesn't extend the kitchen cabinet outward from the wall, and no gap is required for adjacent cabinets. This makes the InDiago an excellent choice when creating an adapted kitchen in your house. The InDiago is commonly used for partial kitchen renovations, as the existing kitchen cabinets can remain on the wall, preserving the kitchen's appearance as the cabinet doors remain attached.
